Project Runway on Mylifetime

Written By: Diana Mamlieva - Oct• 02•11

Of course, Project Runway is not a discovery for anyone. I used to be even addicted to this show, but somehow after Christian Siriano’s season, I stopped following it. I think it was in the middle of my college busy years, and at that point I just wanted to sleep when I got any spare time.

Well, I got back to watching it yesterday and the 2 episodes I watched were amazing! The designers on the show are more talented than ever, Nina Garcia is a bit more bitchier, Michael Kors is funnier, Tim Gunn is classier, and Heidi Klum (who doesn’t love Heidi) is even prettier after having her last baby!

The last episode had a judge from Piperlime.com. The designers needed to come up with 70s inspired outfits that would be sold on the website. I love the looks from 70s, so I was waiting to see what they will come up with. I had 2 favorite outfits at the end, and was curious as which one the judges will pick. Did I mention, the winning outfit would be produced and sold on Piperlime? Well, they picked both! And now I can’t wait to find them online.

The first one is a printed sexy jumpsuit. I don’t own a single jumpsuit, they just never appealed to me… But after seeing that one, I am definitely sold on it! The designer’s name is Anya Ayoung-Chee.  The second outfit is a single-piece – a dress white on the front and sand on the back. It is very simple yet classy. So simple that you think why didn’t I think of that?! And the designer of this dress is Bert Keeter.
