This Holiday season I received “The Little Pink Book of Elegance” as a gift. It is definitely very little and repeats all the style rules our mothers taught us, but we forgot. It covers all aspects of style: from wardrobe rules to makeup, hair, and home. The book inspired me to write this post.

Elegance is everything you are. It lives within you. Elegance is from how you dress to how you carry yourself and speak, to how your home looks. Elegance is also all the little things like daily planners, phone cases, key chains, etc. It does not come in one color, you don’t have to compromise your style for it.

In this post I wanted to emphasize how important little things are for elegance. The card above was sent to me from my friend Yulia. Yulia is so elegant! Not only she always shows me that I am important to her, but she also does that in style. The cards she sends, the gifts she gives, the notes she writes are always carefully selected and well-worded.

The items above fit so well with this topics. I purchased this retro coaster set at Francesca’s collections, the store has so many things to accomplish the elegance in little things. I also just bought this cute retro magnet at the Therapy boutique next door. I also got my invisible book shelf from them a month ago. Absolutely love this place.
